I’ve been painting almost every day for the past few weeks and things are starting to stack up. Here’s a view of the table top where the most recent paintings are being stored. It’s probably time to update my items for sale page or make a shipment to the gallery.
Here’s a close up of the little painting called “Julie” because it reminds me of Julie Andrews.
One of the joys in life is having the chance to rework a painting after sleeping on it for about 8 years. Eight years gives you a fantastic set of fresh eyes.
In the case of this little painting, the artistic license that I relied on in 2014 expired.
Photoshop Elements has more-than-ample tools for stretching, moving, isolating areas to recolor, redraw and experiment with.
A few hours later
There are still some passages that could benefit from another pass, but I like what I’m seeing now. Check back in 2030, though, just in case I change my mind.
