I’d love to show my paintings in the city where I live and work but up to now I haven’t made a serious effort. That’s about to change. I’m talking with a new gallery owner and things are looking promising. I’d like to finish 20 paintings and have them ready for a show in October 2010. I hope that by writing down my thoughts and posting pictures of work in process will help me to stay focused. And it’ll be fun, too. Plus, nobody needs to know about this blog thing except for you and me. Our little secret.
Here’s the painting that for some reason strikes a deep chord in me and that seems to tell the story that I’m trying to tell in my paintings. This is “Michael’s Studio” painted in 2001.
