Here’s my painting for the Treasure Valley Artists’ Alliance’s Local Color show in celebration of Boise’s 150th birthday. This is based on Boise Blue — an art supply store that I used to love to visit. It closed about three years ago. I have fond memories of all the great art stuff they had, their friendly staff, and the special way they took care of artists.
