One of my favorite ways to have fun with art is to make a collage. I found the first Princess Feather Hat in my studio under some watercolors and thought it was the perfect image to inspire a new series.

So, here’s the second incarnation of the princess.

To tell you the God’s Honest Truth, the original princess was created by my wife, Melissa “Sasi” Chambers, years ago. She was finishing up a huge portrait of Chelsey Ripley and was working out the title. In a moment of inspiration she came up with Princess Feather Snow, which I’ve always found enchanting.
